Delivery Model Inheritance Logic

Delivery Model settings exist as a hierarchy:

1. Pick-up

2. Team

3. Global

When determining which Delivery Model settings to use, the system first checks the Pick-up level.
If nothing is set there, it checks the Team level, and if no settings are defined there, it falls back to the Global level.
This means that more specific settings always take priority over more general ones.

This article describes how delivery model inheritance logic works, using the Team level as an example.

Inherit from Global

• All settings are fully inherited from the Global level.

• Settings are displayed in read-only mode.

• Any changes must be made at the Global level. 

  

Hybrid Delivery

• All Hybrid Delivery settings are available for editing.

• Blank fields are ignored (not inherited).

• The Copy from Global button allows you to copy all Global Delivery Model settings to the Team level.
  
  

In-House Delivery Fleet

• No settings are inherited.

• This mode disables automatic DSP order sending.

  

3rd Party Delivery Fleet

• Displays all settings for editing.

• Blank fields are ignored (not inherited).

  

Note: When switching from Inherit from Global to any other mode, existing Global values are not automatically copied — fields must be filled manually or using Copy from Global.
