Multiple Team Assignment

Drivers in Cartwheel can be assigned to multiple teams and easily switch between them in the Driver App.

How to assign teams to a driver:

1. Go to the driver’s profile.

2. Click Available Teams.

3. Select the desired team(s) and move them to the right.

4. Choose the Active Team from the drop-down list.

5. Click OK.

Important Notes

• If only one team is selected, it will automatically become the Active Team.

• Drivers can switch between teams directly in the Driver App without logging out.

• Dispatchers can also change a driver’s active team (instructions below).

• Routes and order history include orders from all teams, not just the active one.

• Chat with dispatcher is only available for the active team, while order-related chats remain visible across all teams.

How a dispatcher can change a driver’s team from the web dashboard:

1. Navigate to Dispatcher Map → Drivers.

2. Right-click on the driver and select Change Team.

3. Select the team you would like to assign to this driver.

4. Click OK.

The driver will receive a push notification:
"Your active team has been switched to [team name]."

How a driver can switch teams from the Driver App:

1. Tap the team name at the top of the screen in the app.

2. Select the team.

3. Tap Apply.

The driver will now see orders from this team.
