You can now create recurring orders in Cartwheel. Recurring orders are the same order that occurs more than one time. Here's how you can do that.
Create Recurring Orders
Go to the Dispatcher Map or to the Orders section and click Create to start creating an order. Fill out Pick-up and Drop-off and find the Frequency. If this is set as "Does not repeat," it will be a regular one-time order. If you choose any other option from the drop-down menu, you will create a recurring order.
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Annually
- Every weekday
- Custom
Recurring parameters:
- Title: Give your recurrence a name. You can find it later on the Orders table and search your recurrences by name.
- Day of week: this will appear with the day pre-filled based on the weekday in the Pick up by field. This field is read-only.
- Time: this will appear with the time pre-filled based on the time entered in the Pick up by. This field is read-only.
- End: enter a day and time to end the recurrence. Optional. If you leave it blank, the recurrence will repeat forever.
You can also set up the Days ahead for recurrence in Properties → Global Settings → General → Order Processing.
Every recurring order has a checkmark on the Orders table in the Recurring column so you can easily identify them. Reurrence names will also make searching faster.
Update & Cancel Recurring Orders
If you need to update your order recurrence, go to the order details, make the changes, and click OK. Before the order is saved, the system will ask you to choose which orders you'd like to update.
- Selected and all subsequent – the chosen and all subsequent orders
- All orders – all orders from this recurrence
After the order recurrence is created, you can change the frequency to any option except for Does not repeat. That is, you can't change the order type from recurring to regular.
Important: changes will only apply to unassigned recurring orders.
If you’d like to cancel an order from the recurrence, only this selected order will be canceled. If you’d like to delete the whole order sequence, go to Orders → Orders screen and choose any order from the sequence. Click the Remove button and choose one of the options to delete orders.
