If your POS doesn't support Dynamic API integration, but you receive order email confirmations from the order source, we can set up an email parser for you.
How does it work?
Your POS generates order email confirmations, which you then forward to an email address we provide for you. Our email parser reads the data from these emails, and automatically creates the orders in your Cartwheel account. This is one-way integration.
Step 1
Send a few examples of these order confirmation emails to your Onboarding Manager. We'll check if we already have a parser built for this format, or if we need to create a new one. Here's an example:
Note: If we need to create a new parser template for your orders, there's a one-time fee of $99.
Step 2
Once we've confirmed the setup, we'll create a dedicated email address for your parser. Make sure all order confirmation emails are forwarded to this address.
Tip: Some POS systems allow you to directly input multiple email addresses into their settings.
Step 3
Our team will then proceed to create the email parser for you. The timeframe for this process can vary from 3 to 14 business days, depending on whether we already have a template for your email format.
Step 4
After the parser is set up, kindly run a few test orders to ensure everything is functioning smoothly. Once confirmed, you'll be ready to go live!
