To start sending orders to UberDirect, follow these steps:
1. Activate the Integration in Cartwheel
Navigate to 'Properties > Global Settings > Integrations > UberDirect Properties'. Click on 'Register' and fill out the required information. Click 'Save'.
Important: In the bottom left corner, click 'Save' again. Let your Customer Success Manager know you filled it out, or contact our support team at support@trycartwheel.com.
2. Submit your Billing information
The UberDirect Team will contact you via email, requesting you to add your billing information directly to the Uber Dashboard.
You can set your billing preferences by choosing one of the following options:
- Credit Card: Recommended for businesses with fewer than 500 deliveries per month. You will be charged daily.
- Invoice: Recommended for businesses with more than 500 deliveries per month. You will be billed monthly, and a credit check is required to enable this payment method.
To set up the Credit Card payment method:
- Click on the option.
- Fill in your credit card information.
- Click Add Card.
To set up the Invoice payment method:
- Click on the option.
- Complete the form and click Submit. This will trigger an automatic internal credit check, which may take a few minutes.
If the credit check is successful, you will be redirected to the billing page, where you can view all your billing and payment information.
If the credit check is unsuccessful or does not pass, you can either switch to daily credit card billing, or contact your Cartwheel Onboarding Manager to determine the next steps.
Once the Credit Card or Invoice is successfully added, please inform us.
3. Optional - Choose Primary and Fallback DSP
If you have both DoorDash and UberDirect integrations enabled, you can choose the preferred and fallback DSP service. To do so, navigate to Properties > Global Settings > Integrations > DSP Properties.
The service from the Primary DSP will work as the default one, and the order will always be sent to that DSP first. If, for some reason, the first DSP can't accept the delivery, the order will be automatically sent to the DSP specified in the Fallback DSP section.

For Refund Requests:
Please ensure that all refund submissions are made within 7 days of the order completion date, and we recommend aligning with the terms of your specific refund matrix.
Submit a Refund Request via Email:
Send your refund request to Uber Direct Support at Uberdirect@uber.com. Be sure to include all the necessary details. You can use the following sample support email template:
