The ezDispatch API integration with Cartwheel facilitates DSPs in receiving orders from various restaurants. In this case, you need to be a part of the ezDispatch network to make use of this functionality.
To become a part of the ezDispatch / Cartwheel integration:
- Contact the ezDispatch team and indicate your interest in integrating with their ezDispatch program and receiving orders through the Cartwheel system.
- Once everything is set on their side, get in touch with your Customer Success Manager or our support team through email at support@trycartwheel.com, we will establish the connection with their system based on the information they provide us.
After configuring the settings on our end, go to Properties > Global Settings > Integrations > Ez Cater Properties and customize the following settings if needed:
- Ez Cater Tip - Default or Custom
- Ez Cater Auto Accept Schedule Hours - Set a schedule for when all orders from Ez Cater are automatically accepted. Orders beyond the specified schedule hours will appear in the Orders > Ez Cater screen and will require manual acceptance to create them in Cartwheel system.
- Ez Cater Notification Emails - Specify the email addresses where notifications about new orders from Ez Cater will be sent.
- Pick up by Adjustment - Adjust the Pick-Up by time you receive from ezCater by adding or subtracting time. For instance, if set to - 15, the Pick-Up by time will be 15 minutes earlier, which may be useful to give drivers additional time to reduce the risk of being late.
- Deliver by Adjustment - Similarly, adjust the Deliver by time you receive from ezCater. If set to - 15, the Deliver by time will be 15 minutes earlier to prevent any delays.
With this integration, an additional Ez Cater screen option is added in the Orders tab. You can manually accept orders in Pending status from there if they come in outside of the auto-accept hours.
